Richard's photography began when he was given a box 'Brownie' in the early sixties. Now using an Olympus OM1, having had troublesome automatics, he is experimenting with manipulated images to complement his surrealist painting. He also carries everywhere his trusty Canon Ixus for those impromptu photo opportunities. Any subject is considered fair game, from raw chickens to his favourite haunt the Penwith peninsular in Cornwall, England.
